This is absoulutely HYSTERICAL!! And I even learned some things about you that I did not know!
I am sooooooo with you about people who squat in public restrooms and get pee all over the seat!! (ahem, SPP– are you reading this?!?!)
Wow! That did take a lot of work. I’m impressed. You’ve got me thinking about putting my own list together. I can hardly think of 10 things about myself and even those aren’t that interesting. But, I might give it a try.
I must apologize for all the “squatters” in the world. I detest public restrooms. And I can not under any circumstances bring myself to put my behind on a public toliet. Everybody has their quirks and that’s mine. I have 2 girls and it takes all my strength to let them sit on a public potty. So, I’ve devised a highly complicated system and I promise that every public potty I leave is cleaning than when I went in. So, I may not sit, but I am thoughtful towards my fellow man.
BTW, I only dated my husband for just under 3 months before we got engaged. When you know, you know! And it’s also my girls dream to own a pug. The Bear has had a picture of a pug on the wall outside her door for months. She calls him Otis (can you guess they love Milo and Otis the movie?). So we have some stuff in common.
Great list! There were even some things in there that I didn’t know about
Very interesting! I learned some things that I didn’t know about you. I miss your grandparents, too!
I was waiting for that Barry Manilow plug!
You don’t like camping, he doesn’t like Broadway musicals… you’re made for each other.
Psst… One of the greatest ways to enjoy God’s tremendously beautiful creation is to hit a hiking trail and at the end of the day enjoy a night outside. So many wonderful state and national parks with great campgrounds for families to enjoy! I wish my parents took me camping when I was growing up.
What a fun read! I will have to do this on my blog if I ever have time! We have # 35 and 58 in common. Except my daughter may just very well be on the next Evenflo Snugli box…the shoot was just 3 wks ago and there were some other babies there…so we’ll see!
No way, Barry Manilow?!?
This was very cool to read. You are quite funny and worldy all at the same time.
Hi! I’m also a Christian stay-at-home mom who loves to blog…I’m new at it, but would love for you to check it out! I love your list…especially #74…we have many things in common! Anyway…just had to tell you how fun your blog is.
Hilarious! I enjoyed reading all those interesting
and funny facts about you and your life. We have a few things in common (gray hair, chocolate/peanut butter, mexican food, watching Lost…)! This is the first time I’ve visited your blog…I’m sure I’ll be back! Thanks for the laughs!
I’m just another one of your mystery lurkers. I’ve been keeping up on your blog since you started The Challenge, very interesting I might add. Anyway… I was born, raised, and still live in IA not very far from Marshalltown. How crazy is that! I’ve been reading a blog of someone who comes from the same area and I had no idea. Just had to share that
Just started reading your blog after I saw you on Extraordinary Wives. I am a closet Manilow fan, that is soo awesome!!
I love these and even though I just found your blog, already know we have things in common! I was a bio major also and have my Master’s in Speech Pathology. I didn’t study in Asia, but have been to Japan, Korea, and Singapore (my husband is Chinese and my kids are Korean). Great facts! I’ll be bookmarking your blog

Jill,
I always knew you had a quick wit and a sick-and-wrong sense of humor (I say that in the nicest possible way, since I, too possess one) but your writing just cracks me up. What a great creative outlet for you. I very much need to subscribe to this blog.
Peace,
Ron

Hi, I came across your blog and pretty much laugh my head off. We have a few things in common. I was born in Taiwan and am an Occupational Therapist and I’m totally with you on the pubic bathroom business. I will bookmark your blog as I have enjoyed very much from it!
These are so funny. You inspired me to do a list, although shorter.
I had to get a tissue after reading #74. Too funny! Now I’m all inspired, I’m gonna start my own 100 things about me list.
Funny.
Oh my, I detassled corn for about 3 days, too. “Justification for higher education” is how my dad described it so he could feel ok about sending his 14 year old baby girl out to do that.
