The Diaper Diaries

but hopefully not full of crap

wfmwheader_162.jpgI may have mentioned that I have a magazine subscription addiction. What is a girl to do after she has read through Martha Stewart Living and has dog eared 10 different crafts that she is dying to make (and who are we kidding, probably will never make).

I buy a big 3 ring binder and some page protectors. Then I tear out anything I want to save and put it in my binder. This has evolved over the years so that I now have several binders to fit my needs. The kids have their own craft binder which I have divided by tabs into birthday ideas, holiday crafts, developmental articles, etc. My binder has tabs for fashion, travel, decorating, etc. I also have a binder full of recipes from magazines and the internet.

This saves me a lot of space as I just save the article I want and recycle the rest of the magazine. Every 6 months or so I go through my binder and throw away things I truly am never going to attempt and keep dreaming of the day I will tackle the rest in my incredibly large amounts of free time.

I pull out articles and keep them in file folders, but some, especially the craft ones, would be good to have in a notebook like that, a little more visible. I agree, too, I’ll never have time to make all the crafts and recipes…but we can dream, right? 🙂
