frugalfridays.jpg Have you ever tried a product and had a really strong opinion about it and wish you could tell the manufacturer exactly what you think (good or bad)? You could write a letter or drop and email, but most of us don’t take the time, because let’s be honest, we don’t have the time.Focus groups are a great way to make your opinion known and make a little cash in the process. It’s a win-win!

Now, this isn’t a get rich scheme, but you can make anywhere from $5-100 dollars for giving your opinion. Sometimes, you may even get the perk of trying out a product or two. To be honest, this tip isn’t worth much if you live in a small town, but if you live in or near a mid to large city, there are probably lots of focus groups in your area. There are a few search engines that help you find groups. I have used Findfocusgroups.com and craigslist in the past.

Mom’s are often times in demand for market research so use your powers for the betterment of products everywhere (I am not near as nerdy as I sound). That is my frugal tip today. For more, check out Biblical Womanhood.
