It is 11 am on Saturday and I have done absolutely nothing. How is that possible with a husband and 2 kids to take care of you ask? I have yet to see them. The hubby and I went to a baseball game (which I won courtesy of a contest tip from my wonderful friend Big Binder) and my parents decided just to keep the kids overnight since we would be getting back past their bedtime. This is such a good week for that to happen, cause Hannah has been waking up for hours every night with “molars coming in” screams. I have gotten very little quality sleep. Lest you think I am a cruel daughter, I did warn my parents to this fact before they volunteered (and armed them with Motrin).
So I slept uninterrupted from 11 until 9. Yes, 10 glorious hours of sleep. Since then, my hubby has left to walk down to my parent’s house to get the girls and then take them for a long walk. In that 2 hours I have been reading blogs, doing online puzzles and researching concrete floors. Things I have not been doing:
- Eating breakfast
- Changing out of my pajamas
- Cleaning my house
- Using my brain or body in any remotely productive fashion.
This is both wonderful and a bit sad all at the same time. I think I will blame my PMS (or DMS as the case may be) and not feel a bit guilty!
