Things I Love- Dawn Simple Pleasures October 17, 2007

dawn.jpg I was recently given a sample of Dawn Simple Pleasures to try. To me this product falls into the “why didn’t someone think of this sooner?” Better yet, why didn’t I think of this and develop it so I could be a wealthy dish soap inventor livin’ the high life.

Anyway, I digress. The brilliant people of Dawn have developed a dish washing liquid that comes in a container that has a built in air freshener in the bottom. So not only do you get clean dishes (which you really do), but you get a fresh smelling kitchen.

I was given the Lemon & Tangerine scent, but it comes in two other scents also: Apple & Pear and Water Lily & Jasmine. I really like the lemon smell, but to be honest I think I would love the apple one. Either way, I have had the product for a few weeks and the air freshener is still going strong. The scent itself is effective, but not overpowering. I love that when I walk in my kitchen I get a whiff of lemon instead of…rotting garbage (not that we aren’t clean people, but I have 2 kids running around, so I know you won’t judge me).

I think this is a great product and think I will be trying it again. Check it out!

Huh….I haven’t heard of this product yet. Next time I’m cruisin’ down the dish soap aisle though I think I’ll be picking up a bottle of it.

I love citrus smells in the kitchen! What kind of air freshener is it? Way to go for Dawn, realizing that most people store their dish liquid out in the open and making a dual-purpose product, thanks for making me aware of it!
