I am always looking for healthy things to snack on during the day. If you have read my blog for any length of time, you know I have a love of all things fiber. So my new favorite combo- apricots and almonds. I love the taste of it. I love the fiber-ificness of it. I love the alliteration of it. I just plain love it!

I LOVE almonds! I especially like the sliced ones you can get in the produce section that have flavors. Butter Toffee is my favorite. I could eat them by the bagful.
Those are some of my favorites. We are dealing with sniffles in our house too… and praying the baby does NOT come down with it! Hope you all are well soon!
Yum! Another great combination is almonds and dried cranberries!
Almonds and cheddar cheese are very good as well–though not so good on fiber.
This is a yummy idea. I also like almonds with cucumbers. The coolness and the crunchiness – yum.

That’s a great idea. we eat dried apricots all of the time. Adding nuts adds some interest and fiber…love it! Hope baby feels better

Yep, I love almonds too. I have the big bag from Sams Club and have at least one handful a day. My other favorite high fiber snack is a handful of Flax Plus cereal. I don’t remember which organic/healthy company makes it, but I like it because it isn’t too sweet. Hope the baby is better soon!
