I just kid Erin, but I am onto your tactics. Because 33 years ago today, I blessed this world with by presence and now I am continuing to bless you with my presents (see how I did that? oh the witty humor!! actually mom, that was for you).
Yes, it is my birthday today and what do I want? Well, I would continue my plea for chocolate, but that did not work out for me so well last week. But you know what did work well? My bribery for comments. So I am bribing again. Maybe I will get so used to all this bribing I will start giving things away every week!! Doubtful, but for this week, you are in luck. Yea – happy happy bday to you! Okay – so it’s chocolate you want? Take yourself on over to Target and check out their Ritter Sport collection…I don’t have a square in front of me, because honestly, they just don’t last that long here at our house, but our FAVORITE is a shortbread-like cookie covered in beautiful, delicious milk chocolate. It comes in a brown package (though so does one of their other combinations) – they have a selection of Ritter back in their candy/fancy chocolate aisle, but I’ve only always found it up on one of the displays near the register. So give yourself that birthday treat…I hear a Ritter Sport calling your name…and maybe mine too! You want us all to celebrate, right? 😉

I think you are my blog soulmate (heehee)… from our forays into FlyLady (a shortlived disaster on my part) to clipping coupons and using a savings website, to similar anniversaries (I celebrated 10 years on May 23rd), now to similar birthdays (I turned 34 on June 3rd), I feel as if I am catching up on my own life when I come here 🙂

This is a big day for me too, cause 33 years ago today I entered motherhood (3 weeks earlier than my due date) You were, are and always will be a blessing. I thank God for entrusting us with you. I guess I should be the one to provide the chocolates, huh?!! (cause you’d have to share them with the one who went through childbirth and sacrificed through adolescence–especially 8th grade) Whew–I’m thinkin’ I’m the one who should get presents today!!
